NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After four years, this mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit title is officially shutting down on Android. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game. Players choose to be either a Killer, hunting and sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's final day is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the official shutdown date. NetEase will provide details on the refund process, adhering to regional laws, on January 16th, 2025.
Existing players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-game purchases or accumulated XP on the mobile platform.
