Albion Online's next major update, Rogue Frontier, arrives February 3rd, bringing a thrilling new chapter to the medieval fantasy MMORPG. This update centers around The Smugglers, a rebellious faction defying the Royal Continent's strictures and establishing a presence in the lawless Outlands.
Exploring the Outlands:
The Smugglers have created secret underground hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as crucial hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning. These dens are interconnected through the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated system linking marketplaces across the Outlands. Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and the Royal Guards, engaging in activities like rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband within Smuggler Crates.
Rewards for Loyalty:
Show your allegiance to the Smugglers, and Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens, will reward your loyalty. Earn valuable items such as the Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (featuring a unique ability to reduce potion cooldowns), a Smuggler's Ring, and a new Smuggler Avatar.
New Additions:
Rogue Frontier introduces Kill Trophies, dropping from defeated players. The quality of loot possessed by your vanquished foe directly impacts your chances of obtaining a trophy. The update also boasts stylish new weapons: the Rotcaller Staff (summoning a mist-spewing form to repel enemies), the Skystrider Bow (allowing levitation and aerial attacks), and the Forcepulse Bracers (delivering shockwaves during dashes).
