Earning VC unlocks gear that affects stats, and weekly Quests provide ongoing goals. The MyPlayer creator allows for reasonable character customization, and the inclusion of skill trees is a significant upgrade. While multiplayer wasn't tested, the promise of ranked matchmaking and cross-platform Societies suggests engaging social gameplay, reminiscent of classic titles like Links 2004. Asynchronous multiplayer caters to players with differing time zones.

PGA Tour 2K25 excels in its balanced approach, delivering solid gameplay across the board without exceptional highs or lows. This makes it less sensational, but ultimately reliable.
