Crunchyroll's New Puzzle RPG, PictoQuest, Arrives on Android
Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll has launched a unique puzzle RPG, PictoQuest, exclusively for Android devices. This retro-styled game is a free offering for Crunchyroll Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscribers.
The PictoQuest Adventure:
In the whimsical world of Pictoria, legendary paintings have vanished! Players must embark on a quest to recover them, battling enemies, solving picross-style puzzles, and ultimately confronting the mischievous wizard, Moonface.
PictoQuest blends picross puzzles with RPG elements. Players use numbered grid edges as clues to recreate images. Enemies attack while puzzles are solved, adding a time-sensitive element as health points act as a timer. A shop offers healing potions and power-ups purchased with in-game gold. The game features a world map with villagers offering special missions.
