How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO

The Fidough Fetch event, running from January 4th to January 8th, 2025, was the primary method for obtaining Fidough. It appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. Additionally, Fidough could be acquired by completing Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges during the event.

Trading with other Trainers is another option for securing Fidough or Dachsbun. Online Pokémon GO communities, like Reddit or Discord, are excellent resources for finding reliable trading partners.

Since Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild, Trainers must either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Evolving your strongest Fidough is recommended, as Dachsbun is a capable battler, valuable for future events, PvP, or NPC battles.

Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

Currently, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. While their standard forms debuted during the Dual Destiny season, shiny variants were not included. However, future events may introduce shiny versions, as Pokémon GO frequently adds shiny forms for existing Pokémon through limited-time events. Until then, Trainers will need to patiently await their arrival.
