Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details

Fuecoco Ignites March's Community Day

March 8th, 2025, marks the fiery debut of Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, as the star of Pokémon GO's first March Community Day. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time), Fuecoco will be appearing frequently in the wild, boasting an increased Shiny rate.

Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) within one week of the event unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, without time constraints.

A special Timed Research event runs concurrently, offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing the research further boosts Shiny encounter chances! This Timed Research concludes on March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).

A paid Community Day Special Research ticket ($2.00) provides three Fuecoco encounters (all with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. This ticket is giftable to Great Friends and above.

March Community Day Schedule and Beyond

Pokémon GO has unveiled a packed Community Day schedule extending through May:

Community Day Classic events revisit past favorites, like Ralts (previously featured in August 2019 and January 2025). The remaining dates feature yet-to-be-announced Pokémon.

Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?

The Beloved Buddies event, launched February 11th, 2025, and featuring Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research with branching paths: one focusing on friendship with Candela (Team Valor), the other on battling Arlo (Team GO Rocket).

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choosing a path unlocks different rewards:

Candela Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

Arlo Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
