- Shadow Palkia Rescue: Confront Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia during the event. A special research task will guide you to a Super Rocket Radar, setting the stage for this epic battle.
- Shadow Ho-Oh Raid Day: On January 19th (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM local time), participate in the Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day for increased chances of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh caught during this period will learn the powerful Sacred Fire charged attack. A $5 event ticket unlocks extra rewards.
- New Pokémon Debuts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, make their Pokémon GO debut! Hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs.
- Shadow Pokémon Encounters: Battle and rescue Shadow Pokémon, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Shiny versions are possible! For the first time, use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids remotely.
