The Pokémon Company has officially responded to the challenges fans have faced in obtaining recent Pokémon Trading Card Game sets. In a new statement, the company has confirmed that reprints are on the horizon and is actively working to ensure that these products reach fans more efficiently.

The latest Pokémon TCG set, Destined Rivals, encountered a myriad of issues including shortages, problems with pre-orders, and the impact of scalpers. Similarly, other recent sets such as Prismatic Evolutions and the Blooming Waters box have been in high demand, making them difficult to acquire.

In a statement released on their official site, The Pokémon Company acknowledged that some fans are "experiencing difficulties purchasing certain Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) products due to very high demand impacting availability."

"We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement explained. "Reprinted products are expected to be available at participating retailers as soon as possible."

The Pokémon Company also announced plans to "maximize production" for upcoming TCG expansions to enhance product availability right from the launch. They committed to "continue reprinting impacted products" to restock inventory, including at the Pokémon Center.

In response to scalping issues, The Pokémon Company indirectly addressed their approach. For Pokémon Center releases, they are "committed to providing a smooth purchasing experience and employ technology that helps get products into the hands of fans first and foremost." This includes using a virtual queue system for certain products during periods of high site traffic.

"We will continue to explore measures that help create the best possible experience for Pokémon Center customers," the company stated. "We’d like to thank the community for their continued support and patience as we work to deliver more Pokémon TCG products to fans."

With these assurances, fans can hope for a smoother and less stressful experience when collecting and playing the Pokémon TCG as new sets are released.
