Secure Your Monster Hunter Wilds Pre-Order Bonuses Before It's Too Late!

With Monster Hunter Wilds launching February 28th, time is running out to claim those coveted pre-order bonuses. This guide breaks down every pre-order incentive and edition to help you decide if pre-ordering is worth it for you.

Platform Availability:

Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It's skipping Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, likely due to performance limitations on those platforms. A Nintendo Switch 2 release remains a possibility.

Pre-Order Bonuses:

Pre-ordering Monster Hunter Wilds before February 28th nets you:

  • Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight
  • Talisman: Hope Charm

The pre-order DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, the Guild Knight Set and Hope Charm.

The Hope Charm's exact function remains unconfirmed, but past games suggest a combat advantage.

Game Editions:

Beyond the pre-order bonuses, several editions offer additional content:

Standard Edition ($69.99): Base game + pre-order content. Available digitally and physically on consoles, and digitally on PC.

Deluxe Edition ($89.99): Base game + pre-order content + a suite of cosmetic items (layered armor sets, decorations, gestures, hairstyles, etc.). Available digitally on PC and consoles.

Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99): Base game + pre-order content + Deluxe Edition content + premium bonus content (available at launch) and two additional DLC packs (Spring & Summer 2025). Available digitally on PC and consoles.

Japan-Exclusive Collector's Editions: Capcom is releasing two physical Collector's Editions for PS5 exclusively in Japan:

Collector's Edition ($68): Seikret plush, weapon bag, steelbook. Note: This does not include the game itself.

Ultra Collector's Edition ($1,140): Base game + pre-order content + Seikret plush, weapon bag, steelbook, and a Monster Hunter Wilds Secret Folding Bicycle (shipped separately around April 2025). Again, note the absence of Deluxe Edition DLC.

International shipping for these Collector's Editions is not directly supported by Capcom.

Early Reactions:

While full reviews are pending, early previews and beta tests paint a positive picture. Reviewers praise the streamlined gameplay, improved performance over the beta, and the impressive variety of monsters and environments.
