Gacha game enthusiasts are always eager to see how their favorite titles perform financially. January 2025's revenue figures are in, and they reveal some interesting trends.
Genshin Impact, following a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, saw a remarkable surge in revenue. miHoYo (HoYoverse) more than doubled its earnings, raking in $99.4 million compared to $45.6 million in December 2024.

Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue, while the popular "female gacha" title, Love and Deepspace, rounded out the top three, earning $55.2 million.
Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million, and Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant drop, with revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only consider mobile platform revenue. While some games, like those from miHoYo, also have PC versions, they are excluded from this data. Furthermore, the data includes a clarification regarding calculations for Android revenue in China, which relies on a multiplier based on iOS revenue due to the absence of Google Play in that region.
