Project NET Pre-Registration Now Open
The eagerly awaited third-person shooter mobile game, Project NET, is now open for pre-registration. The developers made the announcement through their official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025. To secure your spot, visit Project NET's official SEA website and click on the Pre-Register button. You'll need to enter your email address and select your preferred device, either iOS or Android. Additionally, pre-registration is also available on Project NET's official Russian (RU) website.
SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment for Philippines Only
Project NET has also launched registration for its beta test, dubbed the "Shock Point Test." The game's official SEA Twitter (X) account shared this update on March 4, 2025, inviting players to sign up. However, this test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. It's important to note that the test is limited-access and non-monetized, with all data being deleted post-test. The Shock Point Test will also be available in Russia, with more details on the RU website. The developers are currently working on optimizing the game for a broader global rollout.
The official schedule for the SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration is as follows. After completing the recruitment questionnaire, qualified participants will receive their confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Further test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, which has yet to be announced.
Project NET First Announced in December 2024
Sunborn Network, the creative minds behind the successful mobile game Girls’ Frontline, announced the development of Project NET, a new third-person shooter for mobile, on December 27, 2024. The game's first localized initial test took place in SEA countries from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, covering Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The Girls’ Frontline franchise, which first launched in 2016 as a strategy RPG gacha game for mobile, quickly gained a massive following and led to an anime series and various spin-offs. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, hit the market on December 5, 2024. As Project NET is rooted in the Girls’ Frontline universe, fans can look forward to encountering familiar characters and visual styles within the game.
Although no official release date has been announced for Project NET, it is set to be available on both iOS and Android, based on the devices used during its initial testing phase.
