To mark Monster Hunter's 20th anniversary, Capcom and Bandai have teamed up to release the "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition." This special edition of the popular Digimon V-Pet features designs based on the iconic Rathalos and Zinogre monsters. Each device is priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD), excluding shipping and any import fees.
These collectible devices boast a vibrant color LCD screen, advanced UV printer technology, and a convenient rechargeable battery. Gameplay retains the classic Digimon experience, including the helpful "Cold Mode" which temporarily pauses monster growth, hunger, and strength. A backup system ensures your progress is always safe.
Pre-orders are currently open through Bandai's official Japanese online store. Please be aware that these are Japan-only releases, so international customers should expect additional costs for shipping and potential import duties.
Unfortunately, the initial pre-order window is closing soon—11:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET) today.
