Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is poised to launch in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new IP promises to refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game stars Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived as a separate entity from Returnal, allowing both titles to stand independently. While Returnal utilized a roguelike structure with shifting biomes, Saros introduces persistent and upgradeable loadouts (weapons and suits), embodying the "Come Back Stronger" philosophy. Players will progressively enhance their capabilities to overcome challenges.
