For a limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are selling the 83" LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, including free delivery. To put this into perspective, the 2024 model, the 83" LG G4, is listed at a staggering $5,300. The Gallery Series represents the pinnacle of LG's OLED TV lineup and arguably the best OLED TVs on the market.

The G3, launched in 2023, is one generation behind the latest model (no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it remains superior to any other TV in LG's lineup, OLED or otherwise, with the exception of the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED outperforms the C-series. Both feature an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs, but the G-series takes it a step further with MLA (micro lens array) technology, which enhances brightness. This addition significantly increases the cost but elevates image quality to match or even surpass Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.
OLED TVs are widely regarded as the best TVs you can buy today. They offer superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, wider color gamuts, and faster response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs. These advantages make OLED TVs the top choice for experiencing 4K HDR content at its best. LG's OLED TVs, in particular, benefit from years of refinements and optimizations.
