Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers a vast array of explorable worlds. Beyond the standard levels, however, lies the enigmatic Lost Galaxy, accessible only through ten cleverly concealed portals scattered throughout the game's main levels. This guide details the location and method for accessing each portal. Look for the swirling icon on the level select screen – it's your clue!

Portal Locations and Access Methods:

1. Az-Tech Trail:

Mid-level, locate a dark chamber with a wall flanked by four lit torches. Utilize the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. The wall will then retract, revealing the portal.

2. Creamy Canyon:

Early in the level, navigate past a ladybug enemy to a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it towards an icy statue, and release it to shatter the statue. Backtrack, leap over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access the portal.

3. Go-Go Archipelago:

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his embedded claw. A glowing area nearby indicates a spot for a charged spin attack. Drill down to uncover a hidden chamber containing the portal.

4. Downsize Surprise:

Towards the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles. Shrink down, ride a bubble, and transfer to another to reach a branch above a bot. From there, navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

5. Free Big Brother!:

This is arguably the simplest portal to find. At the level's start, turn around and lure an electric enemy to electrocute nearby platforms. This will reveal the portal.

6. Bathhouse Battle:

Locate the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and extinguish the flames. Descend the chimney to find the portal.

7. Hieiroglitch Pyramid:

At the level's conclusion, find an area with falling jewels and a bounce pad leading to a hidden area. Activate a trap, then locate two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

8. Balloon Breeze:

This is the most challenging portal. Obtain the pufferfish power-up and backtrack to an early area with a ladybug enemy. Use the pufferfish and Astro's hover ability to reach a platform. Use motion controls to clear bamboo surrounding the portal and activate it.

9. Djinny of the Lamp:

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, utilizing Astro's hover ability to navigate invisible platforms indicated by glowing ground sections. Ride an unfurled rug to another platform to find the portal.

10. Frozen Meal:

Before the final boss, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside, where the final portal awaits.
