Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to kick off the 25th anniversary celebration of The Sims franchise. The event revealed exciting gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players throughout the festivities.
The celebration has already begun with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, boasts a redesigned main menu, and includes performance optimizations. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately for new game starts, and existing saves can access them via the in-game library.
The main anniversary celebration launches February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will commence. Players can unlock retro-themed items and collect a new set by completing a series of simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season titled "Motherlode" begins in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details regarding the "Motherlode" season's content are currently being kept under wraps, adding to the anticipation.
