Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering full health restoration without relying on food or potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.

Securing a Bed

Early in the game, acquiring a bed is crucial. Completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline during the "Wedding Crashers" quest will grant you access to a bed. Radovan, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient option. Finish his smithing tutorial to unlock the bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your map, providing a safe and comfortable place to sleep and a nearby chest for storage.

Campsite Alternatives

When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting spots. While some might be occupied by bandits requiring a bit of cleanup before use, others are conveniently empty. These campsites are marked on your map, allowing you to interact with the bedrolls for a less comfortable, yet effective, rest.

Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort; getting caught will likely result in a confrontation with the guards unless you can successfully de-escalate the situation.
