Marvel's animated "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" series, following Peter Parker's freshman year, has received early renewals for both Season 2 and Season 3.
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming, television, and animation, revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that Season 2's scripts are complete, with storyboards already half-finished, even before Season 1's premiere on January 29th. The greenlight for Season 3 has also been given.
Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating, "I've fallen so head over heels in love with these characters...we're halfway through the animatics." He highlighted the show's character development, promising a deepening narrative throughout the subsequent seasons.

While Winderbaum confirmed upcoming meetings with lead writer Jeff Trammell to discuss Season 3's direction, release dates for both Season 2 and Season 3 remain unannounced.
The series chronicles Peter Parker's first year of high school as he develops his superpowers. Whether the subsequent seasons will follow Peter through his sophomore and junior years, or explore alternative storylines within his freshman year, remains to be seen.
