Obtaining the Staff of Ice Monocle

The first component, the Monocle, drops from the first Shock Mimic you eliminate in a match. Simply interact with it to add it to your inventory.

Obtaining the Staff of Ice Head Piece

The Head Piece and Staff require similar puzzle solutions and survival of a lockdown. These can be obtained in any order.

To acquire the Head Piece, locate the cave painting in the Neolithic Catacombs. You'll need to illuminate the wall using the Dark Aether lanterns. Shoot a lantern with purple fire; it will respawn in a different lantern after a short time (often at the start of the next round). Once the lantern closest to the painting is lit, the Roman numerals on the wall will become visible. Shoot them in ascending order (I-X). Incorrect shots won't reset progress, only the last correct shot. Use a bullet weapon to avoid accidental misfires from splash or explosive damage. Completing this sequence triggers a lockdown. Survive the onslaught to obtain the Head Piece. If lanterns haven't spawned, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return; if still absent, progress a few rounds.

Obtaining the Staff of Ice Staff Piece

The Staff piece is obtained similarly. In the Tombs room, illuminate the Bull Mural (head facing left) by manipulating the lanterns. Shoot the revealed Roman numerals in ascending order (I-VIII). Survive the ensuing lockdown to claim the Staff piece.

Completing the Staff of Ice

With all three pieces, head to the Dark Aether Nexus (accessing the Door to Nowhere if needed). Place the components on the central structure.
