Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Gets Final Major Content Update

Rocksteady Studios has released the final major content update, Season 4 Episode 8, for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this update concludes the game's live service content. While no further content is planned, online servers will remain active.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, launched in February 2024 to mixed reception, will cease receiving new content updates as of January 14th, following an announcement on December 9th, 2024. Despite this, Rocksteady confirms that all online features will continue to function, allowing players to enjoy the game's existing content with friends.

Following a brief period of server downtime, Season 4 Episode 8: Balance is now live. This update introduces a Libra-themed Infamy Set, powerful Notorious weapons, and a final Mayhem mission against Brainiac. It also includes numerous bug fixes and gameplay improvements, such as reduced XP requirements for Squad Levels.

Thanks to a previous update (Season 4 Episode 7), players can now enjoy the game's campaign and seasonal missions offline, providing continued access even if online servers are eventually shut down. Rocksteady has not announced a server shutdown date.

For those who haven't played, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently available on PlayStation Plus until February 3rd, alongside The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.

LIBRA INFAMY SET

This new Infamy Set, inspired by DC Super-Villain Libra, applies "Scales of Libra" stacks to enemies, increasing damage dealt and received by 50% per stack. High-risk, high-reward gameplay is encouraged.

NOTORIOUS WEAPONS

• The Silencer’s Complete Silence: Deals 200% bonus damage to enemies with Scales of Libra stacks. Alt-Fire deals 1000% bonus damage and creates a Silencer Zone, reducing enemy damage by 100%.
• Doctor Sivana’s Magic Bullets: Piercing bullets apply Scales of Libra stacks and have a chance to electrify enemies.
• Chronos’ Equilibrium: Deals 25% bonus damage per 1% of missing shield, rewarding aggressive play.

• Reduced Deathstroke's Suicide Strike duration against certain enemies.
