Nightdive Studios has announced a name change and new platform for the modernized version of the 1999 sci-fi horror classic, System Shock 2. Now titled System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, this enhanced edition will launch on Nintendo Switch, in addition to its previously announced platforms.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will soon be available on Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The official synopsis:
The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the FTL vessel Von Braun, you find yourself with amnesia, surrounded by chaos. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots stalk the ship's corridors, their chilling cries echoing through the cold metal. SHODAN, a malevolent AI intent on humanity's annihilation, has seized control. Nightdive Studios confirmed that a release date and new trailer will debut during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
