Marvel Studios has unveiled a tantalizing teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, cleverly titled "PREPARE 4️⃣ LAUNCH." The short clip depicts children excitedly rushing towards a shop window, where onlookers are captivated by vintage televisions. These screens showcase a rocket launch, the Fantastic Four donning spacesuits, and the film's title card. While some screens are partially obscured, the overall aesthetic clearly establishes the film's 1960s retro-futuristic setting.

Marvel's "launch coverage" begins at 7 AM ET on February 4th (a rather ungodly 4 AM PT). The video description reads, "The Future Foundation invites you to take your first steps into a fantastic new era."

Ralph Ineson portrays Galactus, with Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. The ensemble cast also includes Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, under the production banner of Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige.

Official Synopsis:

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) — as they confront their most formidable challenge yet. Balancing their heroic duties with the strength of their family bonds, they must defend Earth from the voracious space god Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus's plan to consume the planet wasn't daunting enough, it takes a deeply personal turn.

At New York Comic Con (NYCC) in October, attendees were treated to artwork featuring key MCU figures, including a first live-action glimpse of H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics).

Speculation abounds among fans regarding a potential return of Robert Downey, Jr. as Doctor Doom, either within The Fantastic Four: First Steps or through a teasing cameo. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's appearance in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
