Navigating the vast world of World of Warcraft on a majestic mount is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling aspects of the game. If you're on the hunt for the exquisite Stormcrow mount, Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, you're in for an adventure. Named after the Siren Isle zone from the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, Thrayir is a prize that requires dedication and a bit of luck during the Storm event that sweeps across the island. Here's your guide to claiming this stunning flying mount.
How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft
To secure Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, you'll need to collect five Runekeys during the Storm event on Siren Isle. Each Runekey has its own unique method of acquisition:
- The Whirling Runekey is dropped by the rare spawn enemy, Ksvir the Forgotten, located in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. Visit the Vault during a Storm event for a chance to encounter Ksvir, who nearly always drops the Whirling Runekey upon defeat.
- The Torrential Runekey requires you to gather seven Torrential Fragments from enemies across Siren Isle during a Storm phase.
- The Thunderous Runekey is crafted from five Thunderous Fragments, which can be found in any chest around Siren Isle, regardless of whether the area is experiencing a Storm.
- The Cyclonic Runekey can be obtained by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
- The Turbulent Runekey is assembled from three Turbulent Fragments found at specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:
- Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
- Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone, where a ghost is cowering.
- Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where a ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.
Once you've gathered all five Runekeys, head back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but make sure it's during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering the Vault during any other phase won't allow you to perform the ritual. Navigate to the eastern room of the map, where you'll find Thrayir's body on a platform encircled by five runestones. Insert each Runekey into its corresponding slot, and you'll be prompted with a quest called "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest, and the magnificent Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren mount will be yours to soar across Azeroth.
