TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Launches on Mobile Platforms

By VictoriaApr 25,2025

The iconic 80s action is back, and it's now more accessible than ever. TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, the retro-styled beat 'em up developed by Dotemu, Tribute Games, and Playdigious, is now available on iOS and Android. This mobile version captures the essence of Saturday morning cartoons, arcade classics, and pure Turtle Power, delivering a nostalgic yet refreshingly modern experience.

The story begins with Bebop and Rocksteady storming Channel 6 to steal mysterious technology for Shredder's latest plot. Players join Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo on a side-scrolling adventure through iconic TMNT locations, battling waves of Foot Clan goons, mutants, and villains straight out of the '80s cartoon.

In addition to the Turtles, you can also play as April O’Neil, Master Splinter, or Casey Jones, each with unique styles and special moves. The combat strikes a perfect balance between old-school simplicity and modern finesse, featuring fluid movement, spectacular team-up attacks, and a rhythmic feel to each combo. For those preferring a traditional gaming experience, the game supports Bluetooth controllers.

Visually, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge embraces pixel art, with vibrant backdrops, expressive animations, and fluid character movements that bring each stage to life. The soundtrack, crafted by Tee Lopes, adds a retro vibe that perfectly matches the game's action. Moreover, the mobile version comes with both the Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles DLCs included from the start, with no additional purchases needed.
