Activision and Tony Hawk Team Up for THPS Anniversary

During a recent appearance on YouTube's Mythical Kitchen, Hawk revealed the exciting news, stating, "I've been talking to Activision again, which is insanely exciting. We're working on something—This is the first time I've said that publicly." While specifics remain undisclosed, Hawk assures fans that the project will be something they'll truly appreciate.
The Legacy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
The original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater launched on September 29, 1999, and catapulted the franchise to immense success with numerous sequels. The 2020 release of the remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 (THPS 1+2) was well-received, and plans for remasters of Pro Skater 3 and 4 were initially underway but ultimately canceled due to the closure of Vicarious Visions.

Anniversary Celebrations and Speculation
In anticipation of the anniversary, the official THPS social media channels have unveiled new artwork and announced a giveaway of the THPS 1+2 Collector's Edition. This, coupled with Hawk's recent announcement, has fueled speculation of a new game reveal, possibly during a rumored Sony State of Play event this month. However, whether this will be a new game or a continuation of the previously canceled remaster project remains unconfirmed.
