The competitive landscape of the gacha game market continues to evolve. February 2025 financial data reveals a downturn for several leading titles, including Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.
Gacha game players closely monitor the financial performance of their favorite games. Newly released statistics for February 2025 highlight the fluctuating revenues within the genre.
HoYoverse (formerly miHoYo), a major player in the market, saw revenue decline across its three flagship titles during this period.
Honkai: Star Rail slipped to fourth place, with revenues dropping from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact fell to sixth place, experiencing a significant decrease from over $99 million to $26.3 million—a downturn following a revenue spike driven by the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero ranked eighth, with revenue declining from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, upcoming updates introducing new characters are anticipated to boost earnings for Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai: Star Rail.
February 2025 saw Pokémon TCG Pocket claim the top spot, generating $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace secured second place with $49.5 million, followed by Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle in third with $47 million.
