During this event, Totodile will appear more frequently in the wild, offering players a great opportunity to catch this popular Pokémon, including the chance to encounter a Shiny Totodile.
If you're aiming to power up your Water-type team, evolving Croconaw into Feraligatr during the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Hydro Cannon. This move boasts 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids, making Feraligatr a formidable addition to your roster.
To enhance your experience, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for $2 (or the local equivalent). This will not only enrich your event with additional rewards but also provide you with a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple encounters with Totodile, some featuring a Seasonal Special Background.
Logging in during the Community Day Classic will also unlock Timed Research that extends for a full week, giving you another chance to encounter Totodile and evolve it into Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon before the deadline.
