The ID@Xbox Showcase unveiled a new trailer for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, confirming its day-one arrival on Xbox Game Pass. Expected before year's end, this isometric action-adventure RPG from Digital Sun and 11 bit studios builds upon the original, adding roguelike elements and a deeper narrative.
Players once again step into the shoes of Will, upgrading his shop while venturing into dungeons to gather rare artifacts and battle creatures. Moonlighter 2 expands on the original's formula with a grander story. Will's quest to return to his home dimension unfolds within the vast world of Trense, reuniting him with familiar faces and introducing new allies. His journey intertwines with a mysterious trader, leading him on a quest for powerful relics that hold the key to returning home.
The game's soundtrack is composed by Chris Larkin, celebrated for his work on Hollow Knight. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launches later this year on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
