Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, seems to be plagued by a series of unfortunate leaks. The first gameplay leaks emerged in 2022, shortly after the project entered its closed beta testing phase. These leaks have resurfaced two years later, indicating that Project U is still actively in development. Recently, an introductory cinematic has been leaked online, hinting at a possible reboot of the game's development.

The authenticity and origin of this cinematic remain unconfirmed. It was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for leaking gaming content. Weber suggested that more videos from Project U could surface if the game continues to be developed for an extended period.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, drawing inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. The leaked footage reveals a storyline centered around an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players stepping into the roles of chosen individuals tasked with fighting this extraterrestrial threat.

As of now, Ubisoft has not provided any official statement regarding the formal announcement of Project U.
