Unova Tour: New Pokémon Go Details Revealed

By PeytonApr 12,2025

Get ready for an immersive experience with the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, packed with exciting updates and features. The event promises new music, exclusive Special Research, and a variety of new avatar items to enhance your journey through the Unova region.

The highlight of the event is the world premiere of new music inspired by Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. Composed by the legendary Junichi Masuda, this captivating soundtrack will set the ambiance as you navigate the map, engage in thrilling raid battles, and capture Pokémon.

One of the key decisions during the event will be choosing between the legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom. Through the new Special Research story titled "It’s Not Over Yet," you'll select between two event badges: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom). This choice will not only influence your gameplay but also determine the specific rewards and bonuses you'll receive.

For those taking on the challenge of defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in five-star raids, all subsequent Kyurem encounters will feature the powerful Charged Attack Glaciate. Attendees of the in-person events in New Taipei City or Los Angeles will have an added advantage, as every Kyurem encountered will automatically know this attack, without the need to choose a badge.

Fashion enthusiasts can look forward to a range of new avatar items. The Go Tour 2025 Tee is the first reward available with the free Tour Pass, while upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe unlocks the exclusive Kyurem Helmet. Additionally, the Black Kyurem Wings and White Kyurem Backpack will be available for purchase in the shop, along with the Shiny Meloetta Tee, which is part of the new Masterwork Research.

To enhance your Pokémon Go experience, consider the Road to Unova event add-ons. The Raids add-on offers raid bonuses and the stylish Black and White Joggers, while the Hatch add-on provides Egg bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and the cozy Black and White Hoodie. Both options come with Timed Research, offering additional rewards to enrich your gameplay.

Mark your calendars for March 1st, as the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova kicks off. Don't forget to visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on essentials before the event begins.
