World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!
World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for six months or more! The highlight is the majestic Timbered Sky Snake mount for modern WoW and its adorable counterpart, the Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, are available to all qualifying subscribers by January 31, 2025, with a redemption deadline of January 31, 2026.
This follows a tradition started in 2018, where Blizzard provides bonus items for longer subscriptions, often themed around the lunar Zodiac. Last year's reward was the Auspicious Arborwyrm, reflecting the Year of the Wood Dragon.
The January 2025 Six-Month Subscription Offer Includes:
- Timbered Sky Snake: A flying mount for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
- Timbered Air Snakelet: A matching pet for Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
While the Timbered Sky Snake and Timbered Air Snakelet are included in the six-month subscription, they can also be purchased separately from the in-game shop for $25 and $10 respectively. A separate pet, the Timbered Sky Snakelet, is available for modern WoW via the Battle.net shop for $10 but isn't part of the subscription offer. Existing subscribers on recurring plans will also receive these rewards.
12-Month Subscription Bonus:
For even greater value, 12-month subscribers receive the above plus the following:
- Modern WoW: Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts.
- Classic WoW: Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet.
This also includes July's six-month reward, making it a particularly attractive deal for mount collectors.
A Great Time to Subscribe:
With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the progression servers reaching Mists of Pandaria in Classic, now is an excellent time to secure a longer subscription and claim these fantastic rewards. Don't miss out!
