Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed a weak DPS option, to dramatically reduce enemy health.
The method, surprisingly straightforward, involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns acquired during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health bar is significantly depleted. This occurs because the Elemental Burst's AoE damage is amplified when interacting with objects; hundreds of lanterns can result in millions of damage points.
While this exploit is expected to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to overcome challenging boss encounters.
