Wild Rift Patch 6.1 Goes Cosmic in Mid-April

By BellaApr 23,2025

LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is gearing up for a spectacular launch later this month, promising a cosmic transformation that will revamp everything from the menus to the battlefield. Players will embark on an epic journey through the Dual Nova galaxy, exploring the realms of the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.

Three new champions are set to shake up the meta with their unique abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes powerful area-of-effect damage and can strategically position his team with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, sows chaos on the battlefield, using Paranoia to blind enemies in darkness. And Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing foes and bringing allies back from the brink with Chronoshift.

Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen's Courage now scales over time, enhancing his durability, while his Judgment ability will now shred through enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Additionally, Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista will see smaller yet impactful changes.

Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift is set to invigorate non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that spawn through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with new item updates, including the Bandle Fantasy item that boosts burst damage, Hextech GLP800 with its frost bomb slows, and Malignance, which amplifies ultimate abilities.

Ranked mode is also seeing changes with the launch of the new season alongside the Challenger’s Star. Expect updates to the Ranked store and a streamlined way to earn seasonal rewards.

As the patch progresses, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM—a thrilling twist on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals. The Wild Pass will feature two breathtaking skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate’s skin heralding a brand-new skinline.

Mark your calendars for the release of LoL: Wild Rift’s version 6.1 patch on April 16th. For more details, be sure to check out the official website.
