"We aim to elevate each game we develop. The lessons learned from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 will be integral to The Witcher 4," emphasized game director Sebastian Kalemba.

The latest installment in the acclaimed Witcher series will spotlight Ciri, who steps into the role of the Witcher as showcased in the cinematic trailer unveiled at The Game Awards. While fans remember Ciri as incredibly powerful in The Witcher 3, her abilities appear slightly diminished in the new trailer. Mitręga hinted at a mysterious event occurring between the games but kept details under wraps, promising that the game itself would provide clarity. Time For Geralt To Retire—No, Really

With Ciri taking up the mantle of the Witcher, Geralt of Rivia can finally embrace a peaceful retirement. At over fifty years old, he has earned his rest. According to Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of the Witcher novels, Geralt was born in 1211, making him 61 during the events of The Witcher 3 and potentially in his seventies or nearing eighty by the time of The Witcher 4.

Witchers can live up to a hundred years if they survive their dangerous lifestyle, but many fans were surprised to learn Geralt's actual age, previously assuming he was around 90. This revelation from Sapkowski's latest book, Rozdroże kruków (Raven's Crossing), adds a new layer to Geralt's journey and his well-deserved retirement.
