Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are coming to World of Warcraft China. These mounts, inspired by the rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, will be available through special promotions starting January 15th.
The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk, reminiscent of its predecessor, boasts auspicious clouds within its wings while airborne, a nod to Chinese culture. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar, a regal golden phoenix, features a black saddle and evocative flavor text referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider, its original owner.
These mounts are obtainable through distinct promotional events: the Treasure Workshop for the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and Landro’s Loot Box (priced at ¥200, approximately $27) for the Golden Ashes of Al'ar. The Loot Box offers a chance at other valuable items, including the X-51 Nether Rocket X-TREME and the Swift Spectral Tiger. Group purchases offer bonus crates.
Currently, these mounts are exclusive to the Chinese WoW servers. While an international release isn't confirmed, players outside China can only appreciate these visually stunning additions to the game for now. The return of World of Warcraft to China, following the renewed partnership between NetEase and Blizzard, has been celebrated with various in-game additions, including these unique mounts.
