Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launching Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to release on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, bringing with it significant plot developments and new content.

What's in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update promises to unravel the long-standing mystery of the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deeper into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo's fate following his dramatic fall into the Hollow. The escalating tension between Mockingbird and TOPS has led to the Mayor dispatching a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the situation.

Alongside Vivian, players will venture into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's confrontation with figures from her past will also expose the unraveling conspiracy of the Exaltists. For a preview of what's to come, check out the Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 trailer below.

Here's the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, excelling in dealing Corruption damage, especially when synergized with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, capable of triggering a Totalize effect that amplifies damage based on the remaining duration of an enemy's stun.

Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray, employing cards with varied effects. Additionally, the Physical Anomaly Agent Jane and the Fire Stun Agent Lighter will return in Version 1.7's banners, offering players another chance to recruit them.

The update also introduces new events such as 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
