The Haunted Mirror is a valuable Cursed Possession in Phasmophobia, offering significant advantages with manageable risk. Its function remains consistent across game updates, making it a highly recommended item if encountered during an investigation.
The mirror's primary benefit is revealing the ghost's current preferred room. A panoramic view of the room is displayed in the mirror's reflection, allowing for quicker ghost location and strategic equipment placement. The Haunted Mirror typically appears either hanging on a wall (like in 6 Tanglewood Drive) or resting on the floor in a predetermined location. While the spawn point is fixed for each map, the specific Cursed Object that appears is randomized.
To utilize the mirror, simply pick it up and use the designated interaction button (mouse or controller) to hold it aloft. The ghost's favored room will be visible in the reflection. However, on Professional difficulty and above, remember that the ghost's location can change after a period of time.
