DOOM: The Dark Ages will allow players to make demons less aggressive in the settings

By PenelopeFeb 25,2025

DOOM: The Dark Ages, launching May 15th, aims for maximum accessibility. Unlike previous id Software titles, it boasts extensive customization options, a key focus for executive producer Marty Stratton. This includes adjusting enemy difficulty, damage output, projectile speed, player damage, and even gameplay elements like tempo, aggression, and parry timing.

Stratton assures players that both DOOM: The Dark Ages and DOOM: Eternal's storylines are independently understandable.

The return of the DOOM Slayer to the dark ages was officially revealed at the Xbox Developer_Direct. The game's idTech8 engine promises cutting-edge visuals and performance. Ray tracing enhances the brutality and destruction, adding realistic shadows and dynamic lighting. Minimum, recommended, and ultra settings have been pre-released to allow players optimal preparation.
