Squad Busters, Supercell's latest MOBA RTS, has achieved over 40 million installs and generated $24 million in net revenue within its first thirty days. The game has seen particular success in the United States, which leads in player numbers, followed by Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey, and South Korea.
Despite these impressive figures, there are signs of concern for Supercell. Since its launch, spending has declined, with the $24 million net revenue falling short of Brawl Stars' $43 million during its first month in 2018, and significantly less than Clash Royale's $115 million in its first thirty days back in 2016.
Moreover, the number of installs for Squad Busters has also decreased, starting at 30 million in the first week and dropping to below five million by the end of the thirty-day period.

Is there Supercell fatigue? The diminishing returns for Supercell, even with a game like Squad Busters that they heavily invested in, are undeniable. For perspective, Honkai Star Rail earned $190 million in its first month, far surpassing Squad Busters' performance.
While Squad Busters is undoubtedly a great game, it fits squarely within the established niche of Supercell's existing titles. This could indicate a growing fatigue among the mobile audience towards Supercell's offerings. Only time will tell how Squad Busters continues to perform.
