If you're a fan of *Avowed*, the highly anticipated fantasy RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, you've likely already jumped into its immersive world. Recently, Obsidian released their 2025 post-launch roadmap alongside the patch notes for *Avowed* update 1.4. The details about the game’s present and future were unveiled today on the official Obsidian website. While update 1.4 brings exciting additions like the Arachnophobia mode (where giant spiders transform into sword-wielding blobs for those who aren’t fond of arachnids) and map exploration tweaks, the real buzz comes from the roadmap that outlines an ambitious year ahead.
The upcoming year holds three major updates for *Avowed*. Update 1.4 is already live and introduces notable improvements such as mouse and keyboard support on Xbox, enhanced gold and crafting material acquisition, gear adjustments, and a new party camp feature. If you're yet to explore the world of Eora, the summer update promises even more with cooking and crafting enhancements, new NPC interactions, additional weapons and armor, and custom map markers.
Wrapping up 2025, the fall update is shaping up to be Obsidian’s most extensive update yet. It will introduce highly requested features like New Game Plus and photo mode, along with a new weapon type, the ability to change appearance in-world, more character presets, and more. The team also addressed the demand for multilingual support, promising localized versions for Korean and Japanese players, along with ongoing French improvements. They emphasized their commitment to delivering these updates with the quality their players deserve.
Looking to elevate your gaming experience? Playing *Avowed* on PC with BlueStacks offers smoother gameplay, a larger screen, and the precision of a keyboard and mouse—perfect for eliminating lag and taking your adventures to the next level.
