Deadlock receives a major overhaul with a game-changing map redesign. Valve's latest patch transforms the four-lane battlefield into a three-lane arena, mirroring the structure common in traditional MOBAs.
This significant alteration will drastically reshape gameplay. The previous "1 vs 2" lane distribution is obsolete; strategies must now adapt to a likely "2 vs 2" lane configuration, demanding a complete reassessment of resource allocation and team composition.

Beyond the lane restructuring, the patch repositions neutral camps, buffs, and other map elements. A new "map exploration" mode lets players navigate the revised layout freely, without the pressure of combat, aiding in familiarization.
The Soul Orb system also sees improvements. Players can now accumulate souls even without directly securing the kill, accelerating resource gathering. Furthermore, soul effects have been refined, reducing air-hover times.
Additional enhancements include refined sprint mechanics, character balance adjustments, and enhanced performance. The patch also integrates support for DLSS, FSR, NVIDIA Reflex, and Anti-Lag 2.0 technologies. Numerous bug fixes are included. Consult the official patch notes for a comprehensive list of changes.
